US-Africa Mayor's Summit Initiative

A platform for US and Africa municipal leaders, elected officials, policy makers, the business and philanthropic community ,the civil society and the African diaspora in the US to engage in high level dialogue, networking and learning opportunities aiming to foster  partnership and innovative solutions for the benefit of our cities, our people and the globe.

This annual meeting will take place in the US and in Africa or a rotating basis.

VAP Leadership and STEM Award

The annual Virginia Africa Partnership Leadership Award will be granted to a Virginian or African youth with a leadership stance and academic achievement in science and technology that fosters innovation and cross-cultural awareness.

The 2025 VAP Leadership and STEM Award Ceremony will take place in Richmond, Virginia on Saturday May 20, 2025. Richmond Main Library. 101 E Franklin St, Richmond, VA 23219

Eligible candidates (junior and senior high school students as well as college students) are invited to submit their applications to info@vapartnership.org or to our contact page to fill up an application.

VAP Entrepreneurship Academy
VAP MedExchange

MedExchange is  the Health promotion initiative of Virginia Africa Partnership. It coordinates the exchange program of healthcare professionals from the African diaspora and friends of Africa to differents countries in Africa in order to provide benevolent medical services or trainings.

VAP Youth Leadership and Exchange Program

The VAP YLEP is the organization initiative that encourages and coordinates  African diaspora Youth in Virginia Exchange program to Africa
